Who is New Library Now?

New Library Now! is the name of the Shasta Central Library fundraising organization incorporated in March 2001 and is a 501c(3) non- profit organization.

Objectives of New Library Now!

  1. Plan, organize, and accomplish the fundraising to construct a new central library.
  2. Participate in the design of the facility and programs for the new library.
  3. Assist with development of a governance plan.
  4. Provide volunteer support and input in preparation of state grant application.
  5. Involve and educate Shasta county citizens.

New Library Now! and Shasta Library Foundation are working together to accomplish these five objectives. Friends of Shasta County Libraries, Friends of Anderson Library, and Friends of Intermountain Library are active partners in the effort to seek a new Central Shasta Library.
